Welcome to the 21st Century!

We live in one of the most breathtaking areas of our state, right here in the shadows of Mt. Rainer. As a 35-year resident of Pierce County, I have seen our community change from mostly rural farming to an emerging suburban area.

It's time to step up to the challenges of the 21st century as we build from sleepy backwoods into dynamic towns and cities.

State spending has increased by 33% in the past four years, yet our area has little to show for it: still no road or highway improvements, and schools that are starving for resources.

We need to have state legislators who are willing to listen to the concerns of the community and then act in a fiscally responsible way, rather than doing business as usual.
